    Our Mayfair Engineered Natural Oak 190mm x 14/3mm Brushed & Lacquered Wood Flooring is 190mm Wide and 1900mm length planks and 14/3mm thick. Coming with an impressive 25 years manufacturers warranty it is also suitable for commercial use. Part of the Mayfair range each plank has a V Groove Bevelled Edge, and has a Tongue and Groove edge for easy installation. The finish is Brushed & Lacquered which can be seen in the pictures above.     Engineered Floors

    Engineered wood flooring can be installed in two different ways: by all-over adhesion or in a “floating-floor-type” installation. An advantage of all-over adhered engineered wood floors is that they are comparatively low-noise, because vibrations and hollow sounds are largely eliminated. Thanks to the convenient tongue and groove system, the installation of engineered wood boards, as a “floating floor” is particularly fast and easy to do even without any previous knowledge and has become the most popular method of installation.

    When an engineered floor is floated this in normally done on top of an underlay and if the subfloor is concrete then this underlay should contain a moisture barrier or a DPM (damp proof membrane).

    We can also supply beading, door thresholds, pipe covers and stair nosing to match the flooring we supply. This will add the finishing touches to your floor.

    Standard delivery means orders will be dispatched and delivered within 2-3 working days. All deliveries are subject to stock availability.     If there is the likelihood of delay or we are unable to fulfill an agreed delivery date, we will contact you in advance to discuss alternative options. No items will be left in garages/sheds etc. Any missed deliveries will incur a re-delivery charge. We have developed a very reliable carrier delivery service but it is possible due to unforeseen circumstances that an order may not reach its destination within the stated time frame, for this reason we strongly advise against booking installers until your goods have arrived as we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss.
